Inferring
Infer is to suggest or guess something from a reading or actions you see.
Example: When you see a lot of people in the street, maybe a car accident happened.
Inferring is also what you understand from a reading.
Example:
In the winter it is cold. What are you going to wear?
-Short and shirt.
-Sweater and pants.
Past continuous is when an action in the past is interrupted by another action.
Example:
I was walking in the street when I heard a terrible noise.
For an interrupted idea we use the connector when.
When you have two actions in the past at the same time we use while.
Example: The paramedics were checking a man while everybody was watching.
Now it’s time for our class!
